..Respondents Prayer : The writ petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying to issue a Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondents to renew the recognition to the petitioner's school within a stipulated period as fixed by this Court.

By consent, this writ petition is taken up for final disposal.

2. It is stated by the petitioner that the petitioner-school was given recognition from 01.07.2013 to 30.06.2016. Thereafter, on 19.08.2016, the petitioner-school made a representation for renewal of recognition. The same was rejected by the respondents on the ground that recognition was granted to the petitioner's school only for physically handicapped children, whereas orphan children were studying. It is further stated by the petitioner that for orphan children, another school were opened at Mambalapattu Road, Indira Nagar, Villupuram. Therefore, petitioner re-submitted his application for renewal of recognition with necessary documents. Since no orders have been passed, the petitioner sent a representation dated 07.01.2017 and the said representation is not yet disposed of. Hence, the petitioner came forward to file this writ petition.

3. Heard the submission of Mr.V.Anandamurthy, learned Additional Government Pleader, who accepts notice on behalf of the respondents.

4. Though the petitioner prayed for a larger relief, this Court in the light of the facts and circumstances and without going into the merits of the claim projected by the petitioner, directs the respondents to consider and dispose of the petitioner's representation 07.01.2017, on merits and in accordance with law and pass orders within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
