Respondents Prayer:- The Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, seeking for a Writ of Certiorarified Mandamus calling for the records pertaining to G.O.Ms.No.241, Housing and Urban Development (UD-III-1) Department dated 19.09.2003 on the file of the first respondent Government of Tamil Nadu and quash the same as illegal and ultra vires and further direct the second respondent to register the Deeds of Cancellation of sale in respect Sale Deed in Document Nos.552/2000 and 1565/2000, dated 21.03.2000 and 7.8.2000 respectively, relating to the said lands comprised in Survey Nos.269/1B, 269/1D, 269/14, 269/1C, 269/21, 268/2F, 269/12A, 268/2B, 268/3A, 268/2A, 269/6, 269/15, 269/18, 268/4, 269/19A, 269/19B, 269/19/C, 268/2C, 269/4, 269/9, 269/2, 269/20A and 269/20B measuring total extent of 4.

00 acres situated in No.45, Thiruvidanthai Village, Chengalpattu Taluk, Kanchipuram District without any recourse to G.O.Ms.No.241 Housing and Urban Development (UD-III-1) Department dated 19.09.2003. The learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that the prayer sought for in this writ petition has become infructuous and she has also made an endorsement to that effect.
