The above Writ Petition has been filed to call for the records of the 1st respondent passed in Rc.No.027595/AP.I(1)/2015 dated 14.05.2015 confirming the order of the 2nd respondent in Na.Ka.No.B1.19/2014 dated 17.12.2014 and quash the same and consequently direct the respondents to provide all service and monetary benefits.
2. It is now brought to the notice of this Court that by an order dated 08.03.2023, the Director General of Police has set aside the punishment imposed on the petitioner and on 14.09.2023, the pay has also been refixed. Therefore, nothing survives for considering in the above writ petition.
3. The learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that by reason of the punishment the petitioner had been deprived of his 2/4
promotion. However, the same has not been pleaded in the affidavit.
4. Considering the above, the writ petition is dismissed as infructuous with a liberty to the petitioner, in case, he is entitled to promotion in the interregnum period, to raise it before the authorities concerned. No costs. Consequently, the connected Miscellaneous Petitions are closed.
