ORDER

This Civil Revision Petition has been filed to direct the learned District Munsif, Perambalur, to dispose O.S.No.841 of 1994 within a period stipulated by this Court.

2. Petitioner is the defendant and respondents are the plaintiffs in O.S.No.841 of 1994 on the file of the District Munsif Court, Perambalur. The respondents filed the suit for declaration and injunction against the petitioners. The said suit was filed by the first respondent originally and subsequently, other respondents were impleaded as plaintiffs. The petitioner filed written statement on 28.11.1996 and after framing issues, the suit was posted for trial on 21.03.2017. From that date onwards, the respondents are filing applications one after another and drag on the proceedings. On 21.03.2017, the respondents 3 and 4 again filed a memo stating that they are not willing to conduct the suit before the said Court on the ground that they are going to file a transfer petition to transfer the suit to some other Court. In the circumstance, the present civil revision petition is filed for speedy disposal of the suit.

3. Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioners.

4. Having regard to the submissions made by the learned counsel for the petitioners, considering the limited prayer sought for in the civil revision petition, without expressing any opinion

with regard to the merits of the matter, I direct the learned District Munsif, Perambalur, to dispose O.S.No.841 of 1994, on merits and in accordance with law, as expeditiously as possible and in any event, not later than three months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

5. The Civil Revision Petition is disposed of with the above direction. No costs.
