ORDER
This Criminal Original Petition has been filed to recall the non bailable warrant issued by the learned Judicial Magistrate-I, Tambaram in Crl.MP.No.311 of 2021 in S.T.C. No.1555 of 2016.
2. The petitioner is arrayed as sole accused in S.T.C.No.1555 of 2016, on the file of the learned Judicial Magistrate-I, Tambaram for the offences punishable under Section 138 of the Negotiable Instruments Act.
3. The petitioner was absent during the trial in S.T.C.No.1555 of 2016, on the file of the learned Judicial Magistrate-I, Tambaram. Therefore, non bailable warrant came to be issued on 23.03.2020.
4. The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner undertakes that the petitioner shall appear before the Court below regularly on all future hearing dates without fail.
5. Considering the undertaking given by the petitioner, the petitioner is directed to appear before the learned Judicial Magistrate-I, Tambaram, within a period of two weeks from today and file a petition to recall the Non-Bailable Warrant issued against him. The concerned Magistrate is directed to consider the same on merits and pass orders on the same day.
