Prayer: Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, to issue a Writ of Certiorarified Mandamus, to call for the records and quash the order passed by the respondent dated 31.12.2020 in Na.Ka.A4/693/2019 and consequently, direct the respondent to grant patta to the petitioner in Survey No.406/195 in Block No.25 to an extent of 600 sq.ft, located at No.4, 5/7, 18th Street, Mangalapuram, Chetpet, Chennai 600 003.

ORDER

This Writ Petition is filed for a writ of Certiorarified Mandamus, to call for the records and quash the order passed by the respondent dated 31.12.2020 in Na.Ka.A4/693/2019 and consequently, direct the respondent to grant patta to the petitioner in Survey No.406/195 in Block No.25 to an extent of 600 sq.ft, located at No.4, 5/7, 18th Street, Mangalapuram, Chetpet, Chennai 600 003. 2.Mrs.R.Janaki, learned Additional Government Pleader entered appearance for Respondent and submitted that an https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

enquiry is scheduled to take place on 21.05.2021 at 11.00 a.m at the office of the respondent.

3.The said statement of the learned Additional Government Pleader is recorded.

4.In view of the above, no further direction is required to be given except that the respondent is directed to issue notice to all the parties who are likely to be affected by his decision, provide them a fair and effective hearing and to dispose of the matter through a speaking order within a period of eight (8) weeks (after the conclusion of the General Elections to the Legislative Assembly - 2021) from 21.05.2021. 5.The Writ Petition is disposed of accordingly. No costs.
