Prayer: Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying to issue a Writ of Mandamus, to direct the respondents to pay unpaid 10/11 days salary of last retirement month with 10% interest to the petitioners.

ORDER

This Writ Petition has been filed in the nature of a Mandamus seeking a direction to the respondents to pay the salary for 10/11 days, which were the last working days of the writ petitioners. 2.It is contended that the said salary had not been paid to the petitioners. It is under those circumstances that the writ petition has been filed.

3.Heard the learned Standing Counsel for the respondents. 4.The respondents may examine the service register of each one of the petitioners and examine whether the salary for the last 10/11 days, for 2/4

which, they have worked had been paid to them and if not, pay the same within a period of three months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. It would also carry an interest at 6% per annum from the date of retirement till the date of actual disbursement. 5.With the above observations, this Writ Petition stands disposed of. No costs.
