ORDER

This writ petition has been filed to direct the respondents 1 & 2 to conduct the proceedings of revision in Na.Ka.V.8/2374562/2024 dated 30.08.2024 and to dispose of the proceedings in pursuant to petitioner representation 20.01.2025.

2. Mr.C.Jayaprakash, learned Government Advocate, takes notice on behalf of the respondents 1 to 4.

3. By consent of the parties, the main writ petition is taken up for disposal at the admission stage itself.

The learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that in this case, initially, the petitioner had approached the 4th respondent and filed an application seeking for patta of the subject property. The said application was rejected by the 4th respondent vide proceedings dated 27.03.2023, whereby the petitioner was advised to work out his remedy before the Court of law. Against the said proceedings, a revision was filed by the petitioner before the 3rd respondent. In the said revision, the proceedings of the 4th respondent was confirmed by the 3rd respondent vide proceedings dated 19.08.2019. Aggrieved over the same, an appeal was preferred by the petitioner before the 2nd respondent. The said appeal was forwarded to the 3rd respondent vide proceeding dated 30.08.2024. In this regard, a representation was also filed to dispose of the said appeal. However, the said representation was not at all considered by the respondents 1 & 2 till date. Hence, this writ petition.

5. In reply, the learned Government Advocate appearing for the respondents would request this Court to pass appropriate orders directing the respondents to consider and dispose of the representation 3/6

filed by the petitioner.

6. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Government Advocate for the respondents and also perused the materials available on record.

7. In the case on hand, initially, the petitioner had filed an application seeking for patta of the subject property. The said application was rejected by the 4th respondent vide proceedings dated 27.03.2023, whereby the petitioner was advised to work out his remedy before the Court of law. In this regard, a representation was also filed to dispose of the said appeal. However, the said representation was not at all considered by the respondents 1 & 2 till date.

8. In view of the above, this Court directs the respondents 1 & 2 to 4/6

consider the petitioner's representation dated 20.01.2025 and dispose of the same on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of 2 weeks from the date of receipt of copy of this order.

9. With the above directions, this writ petition is disposed of. No costs.
