ORDER

The petition has been filed to direct the respondents to register my birth and consequently, to issue Birth Certificate to the petitioner by considering the petitioner representation dated 25/09/2025.

The learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that the petitioner's father is an Indian citizen and his mother is a citizen of Nepal. They got married in the year 1988 and the petitioner was born at home in Chennai on 09.10.1995. The petitioner applied for a passport which was rejected on 01.01.2021 stating that he doesn't have birth certificate. Therefore, the petitioner made a representation dated 25.09.2025 to the second respondent to issue a birth certificate along with his college certificate, aadhar card, ration card and his father's passport. Since the representation was pending for consideration, the petitioner is before this Court. 3.

Heard the learned counsel on either side and perused the records. 4.

Considering the relief now sought for by the learned counsel for the petitioner, this Court, without going into the merits of the case, directs the second respondent to consider the petitioner's representation dated 25.09.2025, on merits and in accordance with law and to pass appropriate orders, if the

petitioner is providing proof as to the fact that he was born in India, within a period of two months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. Accordingly, the writ petition is disposed of.
