Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying for issuance of a writ of certiorarified mandamus calling for all relevant records relating to the impuged dismissal order issued in proceedings No.CRC/T8/Ma.Na./416/96, 72/8, 34, 75/97 dated 20.10.97 passed by the fourth respondent herein and the award passed in I.D.No.46/98 dated 6.11.2003 passed on the file of the second respondent herein and quash the same as arbitrary, unreasonable, improper, illegal, against the rules and regulations of the respondents and thereby, directing the respondents to reinstate the petitioner into service as mechanic in the Tamil Nadu State Transport Corporation Limited, Kumbakonam Division I, Kumbakonam with backwages, continuity of service, with all consequential and other monetary benefits.

When the matter was called on earlier two occasions viz., 13.06.2022 & 29.06.2022, there was no representation for the petitioner. Hence, the matter was directed to be listed under the caption, "For Dismissal" on 05.07.2022.

2. Accordingly, today, this case is listed under the caption, "For Dismissal". Even today, when the matter was called, there was no representation for the petitioner. This shows that the petitioner is not interested in prosecuting the case. Hence, this Court has no other option, except to dismiss this petition for non-prosecution. Accordingly, this writ petition is dismissed for non-prosecution. No costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
