W.P.No.21140 of 2015 W.P.No.21140 of 2015 M.S.RAMESH, J., By an earlier order of this Court dated 29.03.2021 passed in the present writ petition, the Award of the Labour Court in I.D.No.2 of 2011 dated 18.02.2015 was modified and accordingly, a sum of Rs.1,00,000/- was ordered to be paid to the petitioner as compensation in lieu of reinstatement. With these directions, the Writ Petition was listed today under the caption "for reporting compliance".

2. The learned counsel for the respondent has handed over the cheque to the learned counsel for the petitioner bearing Cheque No.0001133 dated 13.12.2021 drawn on HDFC Bank, Teynampet Branch, Chennai for a sum of Rs.1,00,000/- favouring the petitioner herein, as a full and final settlement. 3. In view of this payment made, the earlier order of this Court dated 29.03.2021 is recorded to have been complied with fully. Hence, no further orders are required in the present writ petition. Accordingly, the writ petition stands closed.
