This writ petition has been filed to direct the respondents to take necessary action on the petitioner's representation dated 10/3/2014, 1/4/2014, 29/12/2014, 9/3/2015 and 23/3/2015 seeking to remove the blockage in the drainage canal, situated in front of the petitioner's land in R.S.No.752/7 and 752/8 situated at Nanjai Uthukuli Village, Chavadipalayam, Pudur, Erode District.

2. Heard Mr.J.Shanmuga Sundarababu, learned counsel for the petitioner, Mr.N.Naveen Kumar, learned Government Advocate for the respondents 1 and 2 and Mr.P.Chinnadurai, learned counsel for the respondents 3 and 4.

3. Today, when the matter is taken up for hearing, learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submitted that the prayer sought for by the petitioner has become infructuous and hence nothing survives for further adjudication. He has also made an endorsement to that effect.

4. In view of the above, this writ petition is dismissed as infructuous. No costs.
