COMMON PRAYER: Contempt Petitions filed under Section 11 of the Contempt of Courts Act, 1971, to punish the respondent for willful disobedience of the order passed in W.P.No.2596 of 2009 dated 17.02.2009 and W.P.No.4404 of 2009 dated 25.03.2009.

2. As per the direction of this Court by order dated 03.12.2020, the officers Mr.K.R.Soundararajan, Mr.R.Rengarajan, Mr.S.Mayakrishnan, Mr.R.Thangavelu and Mr.K.Pandy, who were serving in between March 2014-December 2017 have appeared before this Court.

3. Learned Additional Advocate General submitted that they have filed an affidavit with an unconditional apology for delay in complying with the directions of this Court. He further submitted that they had recovered all the amount from the employees and remitted to the Society.

4. Considering the submission made by the learned Additional Advocate General and also the affidavit filed by the officials and the fact that as per the order of this Court, the amount has been remitted to the Society, these contempt petitions are closed. bri SD/- ASSISTANT REGISTRAR(COMM.CASES) //Certified to be true copy// Dated at Madras this the day of 2021.
