Prayer: Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India seeking issuance of a writ of mandamus directing the 3rd respondent to consider the petitioner's representation letter dated 16.12.2023 to evict and demolish the unlawful construction raised by the 5th respondent in which denotes as Promoboke wet water land in Town Survey No.176/1, Block No. 23, in Mosque Street Arakkonam Taluk, Ranipet District.

ORDER

(Order of the Court was made by R.MAHADEVAN,J.) The petitioner has filed this writ petition seeking issuance of a writ of mandamus directing the third respondent to consider the petitioner's representation dated 16.12.2023 to evict and demolish the unlawful construction raised by the fifth respondent in Town Survey No.176/1, Block No. 23, in Mosque Street Arakkonam Taluk, Ranipet District, which is stated to be poramboke wet water land.

2. After hearing learned counsel for the petitioner and learned Government Advocate for respondents 1 to 4, we hereby direct the respondent authorities to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 16.12.2023 and pass orders on merits and in accordance with law, after affording reasonable opportunity to the petitioner as well as the private respondent, within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

3. The writ petition, accordingly, stands disposed of. There shall be no order as to costs.
