ORDER
This Court by an order dated 05.03.2012 directed the respondent to consider and dispose of the revision petition filed by the petitioner dated 01.06.2011 and pass orders on merits and in accordance with law, within a 1/3
period of six weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. Though, a time limit is stipulated by this Court, it is not meticulously followed. 2.
The learned Additional Government Pleader reported that the respondent has passed a final order on 22.12.2016. A reading of the order dated 22.12.2016 shows that the order has been passed in favour of the petitioner in the Revision Petition. Though the time limit is not duly adhered to, having regard to the nature of dispute and the matter relates to the proceedings under Tamil Nadu Act XXVI of 1948, based on the submission of the learned Additional Government Pleader reporting compliance, this Contempt Petition is closed.
3. The learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that the order dated 22.12.2016 passed by the respondent has not been communicated to the petitioner. Though the copy of the order is marked to the petitioner and his counsel, there is no material placed before this Court to prove service on the petitioner.
4. The learned Additional Government Pleader is requested to provide a hard copy of the order dated 22.12.2016 in the course of this week. The respondent shall also furnish the certified copy of the order to 2/3
the petitioner, within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
