Prayer: Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, to issue a Writ of Mandamus directing the Respondents to take appropriate action on the complaint submitted by the Petitioner dated 21.05.2018, 19.08.2018, 20.08.2018 and 01.11.2018 by appointing a team of officers independently to enquire the matter within the time prescribed by this Court.

The petitioner states that he has filed several complaints before the Chennai Port Trust dated 21.05.2018, 19.08.2018, 20.08.2018, 29.08.2018 and 01.11.2018 among others for https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/
appointing a team of officers to enquire into irregularities within the Port Trust.
2.The tenor of the writ petition is too vide and too vague to be countenanced. Moreover, vide letter dated 24.02.2022 bearing No.L5/WP-5343/1809/2019/GA, the Port Trust has also confirmed that action has already been taken as regards the aforesaid complaints and as on date none of the complaints as reflected in the representation, are pending before the Vigilance Department. This would suffice.
3.Recording this, this writ petition is closed. If the petitioner has any specific allegations that he would want to draw the attention of the authorities to, he is at liberty to make appropriate representation before the Port Trust for its attention and action. No costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is also closed.
