Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, to issue a writ of Certiorarified Mandamus, calling for the records of the impugned order of the third respondent covered in their official reference No.Mu.Mu.No.B5/11274/2011 dated 12.10.2011 and quash the same and consequently direct the petition/respondents to cancel the patta record issued in favour of the above said Mr.Gangan @ Chinna Gangan S/o. (late) Duraisamy of Salukkai Village, Vandavasi Taluk, Thiruvannamalai District, pertaining to the house site land bearing old S.No.163/377/12/UDR and issue separate patta records to the petitioners for an extent of 2 1⁄2 cents towards the share of entitlement in the above lands.

O R D E R

This writ petition is filed to issue a writ of Certiorarified Mandamus, calling for the records of the impugned order of the third respondent covered in their official reference No.Mu.Mu.No.B5/11274/2011 dated 12.10.2011 and quash the same and consequently direct the petition/respondents to cancel the patta record issued in favour of the above said Mr.Gangan @ Chinna Gangan S/o. (late) Duraisamy of Salukkai Village, Vandavasi Taluk, Thiruvannamalai District, pertaining to the house site land bearing old S.No.163/377/12/UDR and issue separate patta records to the petitioners for an extent of 2 1⁄2 cents towards the share of entitlement in the above lands.

2. When the matter was listed on 24.09.2021, there was no representation on behalf of the petitioners. Therefore, the matter was ordered to be listed on 28.09.2021 under the caption "for dismissal". Even today i.e. 28.09.2021, no one appeared on behalf of the petitioners.

3. Therefore, this Writ Petition is dismissed for non prosecution. Consequently, the connected miscellaneous petitions are closed. No order as to costs.
