The petitioner submitted a representation dated 08.07.2015 to initiate action against the Drug Inspector. The complaint was addressed to the Director of Drug Control, Chennai and the complaint contains certain allegations against one Mrs. R. Chitra, Drug Inspector, Tiruvallur Zone.

2. Whenever a complaint is received, specifically against the public authorities, then the Head of the Department is bound to look into the nature of the complaint, if necessary, conduct an enquiry and take a decision by following the procedures. In the present case, the 1st respondent has not initiated any action and therefore, the petitioner has chosen to file the present writ petition.
3. The writ petition was filed in the year 2015. Under these circumstances, the petitioner is pertmitted to submit a fresh copy of the representation to the 1st respondent and the 1st respondent, on receipt of the same, shall look into the allegations raised by the petitioner and initiate appropriate actions, if necessary, in accordance with law.
4. With these directions, the writ petition stands disposed of. Consequently, connected Miscellaneous Petition is closed. No costs.
