This petition has been filed to direct the respondent to consider the petitioner's representation dated 28.03.2018 and give permission to perform cultural programme will be conducted on 05.04.2018 in the Arul Megu Selliamman and Mariamman Temple Festival situated Naapalayam Village, Edganasalai Post, Salem District.
The petitioner had given a representation dated 28.03.2018 to the respondent police for conducting cultural activities in the local temple. It is for the Police to take a decision depending upon the law and order situation and this Court cannot give a direction to the police as prayed for by the petitioner. Hence, this petition is closed.
