PRAYER: Criminal Original Petition filed under Section 482 Cr.P.C., to direct the second respondent herein to give necessary police protection to the life and property of the petitioners herein in view of the judgment and decree in O.S.No.231 of 2008 dated 15.09.2009 and by considering their complaint dated 22.04.2016 and even with the payment of necessary charges.

ORDER

This Criminal Original Petition has been filed seeking for police protection.

2. The petition was filed in the year 2016. By efflux of time, the cause of action that has been projected to seek for the relief of police protection, may not survive at this length of time and this Court is not inclined to grant any police protection.

3. If and when the petitioners encounter a situation wherein they require police protection for the life and property, a fresh representation can be made to the respondent police and the same shall be considered and a proper action shall be taken in accordance with law.

4. In the result, the Criminal Original Petition is closed.
