ORDER

The petitioner seeks a writ of mandamus directing the respondent to grant him pensionary benefits, dearness allowance and other statutory benefits, pursuant to the Government Order in G.O.No.363 of 2013, dated 23.08.2013.

2. When the writ petition was taken up for hearing today, the learned Government Advocate produced a copy of the order dated 23.01.2015, on the file of the Assistant Commissioner of Hindu Religious and Charitable Endowments Department, Chennai, granting benefits to the petitioner. In view of the order dated 23.01.2015, the learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that nothing survives for adjudication in the writ petition.

3. The respondent has already considered the request made by the petitioner by granting him the benefits and the same culminated in passing the order, dated 23.1.2015. In view of the said order, nothing survives for factual adjudication in the writ petition.

4. The writ petition is disposed of with the above observation. No costs.
