ORDER

This Writ Petition has been filed for a direction directing the respondents to provide police protection to the "Agni Veeranar Kuladeiva Vagaiyar" to put up compound wall or fencing in and around the temple.

2. The police protection can be granted only to the life of a person and cannot be granted to any immovable property. That apart, there is a dispute in respect of the temple between the petitioner and the respondents 3 to 7 herein.

3. In view of the above, this Court is not inclined to pass any order in favour of the petitioner.

4. Accordingly, this Writ Petition is dismissed. No costs. 21.03.2025 Index:Yes/No AT
