ORDER

This Criminal Original Petition has been filed to direct the respondent police to file the final report in Crime No.647 of 2020 dated 06.12.2020 on the file of the respondent police. 2.

The learned Additional Public Prosecutor on instructions submitted that the investigation was completed and a closure report was filed as mistake of fact on 07.12.2021. The learned Additional Public Prosecutor submitted that the RCS notice was also served on the petitioner/Defacto complainant.

The learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that the petitioner has not received any RCS notice from the respondent police. 3.

In view of the above, the respondent police is directed to immediately serve the RCS notice on the petitioner. Liberty is granted to the petitioner to file a protest petition before the concerned Magistrate

Court and work out his remedy in the manner known to law. 4.

This Criminal Original petition is disposed of with the above directions.
