ORDER

The prayer sought for in this writ petition is for a direction to direct the respondents to consider the petitioner's representation dated 21.03.2017 and pass appropriate order with regard to the recruitment notification.

2.The petitioner has raised certain grievances with regard to the process of recruitment undertaken by the respondents. The writ petitioner had also applied for the post of Assistant Professor at Periyar University Constituent Arts and Science College at Harur. Though the grievances set out in the writ petition is substantive, this Court is not inclined to consider the grievances of the writ petitioner at this stage.

3. In view of the fact that the prayer sought for in this writ petition is restricted to the extent of considering the petitioner's representation and the grievances are also set out in the said representation, this Court is of the opinion that it is suffice to direct the respondents to consider the petitioner's representation.

4. Accordingly, the first respondent is directed to consider the representation submitted by the petitioner on 21.03.2017, and pass orders on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
