Respondents Prayer : Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India seeking issuance of a writ of mandamus directing the respondents 1 to 7 to remove the encroachment made by the respondents 8 and 9 in S.No.527/7, Punjai Kalamangalam Village, Modakkurichi Taluk, Erode District and further direct all the respondents to maintain the Paavadi for using the village public to dry the cloth of weaver (Nesavalar) without any encroachment and to maintain as Paavadi land. ORDER

(Order of the court was made by the Hon'ble Chief Justice) We have heard Mr.K.Karthikeyan, learned counsel for the

petitioner; and, Mr.C.Kathiravan, learned Special Government Pleader for respondents 1 to 7.

2. Learned Special Government Pleader submits that survey would be conducted within three months from today. In the survey, if any encroachment is found, steps would be undertaken to remove the encroachment within three months thereafter.

3. In view of the said statement made by learned Special Government Pleader, no orders are required to be passed in the present matter. The writ petition, as such, is disposed of. There shall be no order as to costs.
