For Petitioner : Mr.A.Ganesan For Respondent : Mr.A.Zakir Hussain Govt.Advocate C O M M O N O R D E R The petitioner has filed the above writ petitions to issue writs of mandamus directing the respondent to consider and pass orders on the petitioner' s applications dated 18.02.2016 for the grant of Contract Carriage Omni Bus Permits.

2. It is the case of the petitioner that he submitted applications for grant of two Contract Carriage Omni Bus Permits in Ref.Nos.7719/A3/16 and 7718/A3/16 before the respondent and that the respondent had not considered the same yet.

3. Mr.A.Zahir Hussain, learned Government Advocate appearing for the respondent submitted that the respondent may be directed to consider and pass orders on the petitioner's applications in accordance with law.

4. Having regard to the submissions made by the learned counsel on either side, taking into consideration the limited prayer sought for in the writ petition, without expressing any opinion on the merits of the case, I direct the respondent to consider the petitioner's applications dated 18.02.2016 in https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

Ref.os.7719/A3/16 and 7718/A3/16 for the grant of Contract Carriage Omni Bus Permits and pass orders on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

With these observations, the writ petitions are disposed of. No costs.
