O R D E R

This writ petition has been filed for the issue of a writ of mandamus directing the respondent to act upon the application submitted by the petitioner on 22.10.2024 wherein the petitioner is seeking for the survey of

the subject property for demarcation of the boundaries.

2. Heard Mr.T.S.Vijaya Raghavan, learned counsel for the petitioner and Mr.A.Selvendran, learned Special Government Pleader appearing for the respondent.

3. The petitioner is claiming right over the subject property through a registered sale deed dated 26.08.2010. The petitioner is also placing reliance upon the joint patta that was issued in Patta No.572. The petitioner wanted a survey to be conducted in the subject property and necessary application was submitted on 22.10.2024 and the charges were also paid. The grievance of the petitioner is that the application was not acted upon and the survey was not conducted. It is under these circumstances, the present writ petition has been filed before this court.

Taking into consideration the facts and circumstances of the case and the materials placed before this court, there shall be a direction to the respondent to conduct the survey of the subject property based on the application submitted by the petitioner on 22.10.2024 in line with the title deed and the patta that has been issued and this process shall be completed

within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

5. This writ petition is disposed of with the above directions. No costs.
