Prayer: Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, to issue a Writ of Mandamus, to direct the respondents to consider the representation dated 31.01.2021 and to pass an award by fixing reasonable compensation as per Section 7(3) of the Tamil Nadu Acquisition of Land For Industrial Purposes Act, 1997 (T.N Act 10/1999) in respect of lands situated in Pelakuppam Village, Tindivanam Taluk, Villupuram District comprised in Survey Nos.33/5A; 33/5B; 33/1B1 and 33/1B2 in so far as the petitioner's lands are concerned.

ORDER
This Writ Petition is filed for a writ of Mandamus, to direct the respondents to consider the representation dated 31.01.2021 and to pass an award by fixing reasonable compensation as per Section 7(3) of the Tamil Nadu Acquisition of Land For Industrial Purposes Act, 1997 (T.N Act 10/1999) in respect of lands situated in Pelakuppam Village, Tindivanam Taluk, Villupuram District comprised in Survey Nos.33/5A; 33/5B; 33/1B1 and 33/1B2 in so far as the petitioner's lands are concerned.
2. The petitioner's property was acquired under the provisions of the Tamil Nadu Acquisition of Land for Industrial Purposes Act, 1997. The petitioner has now come forward with the representation dated 31.01.2021, for passing an award in terms of Section 7(3) of the Act.
3. Mr.E.Manoharan, learned Special Government Pleader who took notice for the respondents, made a submission on instructions that even exactly one month prior to the date of representation, an award was passed on 31.12.2020. The compensation amount is also been transferred to the Bank account of the petitioner.
4. The learned counsel for the petitioner concurred with the statement and added that if the copy of the award made available to the petitioner promptly, the petitioner would not have filed the present petition.
5. This Court records that statement too and it is for the respondents to take notice as to how it can contribute to the litigation -avoidance. To this Court, nothing survives for adjudication in the matter and accordingly, this petition is closed. No costs.
6. The fourth respondent / Land Acquisition Authority is directed to circulate a copy of the award forthwith to the petitioner, not later than two weeks from today. Sd/- Assistant Registrar(CS VI) //True Copy// Sub Assistant Registrar gsk
