O R D E R

The present Contempt Petition has been filed by petitioner alleging non-compliance of the order of this Court passed in W.P.No.20554 of 2014 dated 04.08.2014, wherein this Court directed as follows: "6. Thus, considering the submissions of the learned counsel for the petitioner as well as learned Additional Government Pleader for the respondents 1 to 3, and on perusing the order dated 12.04.2011, passed in W.P.No.9200 of 2011, wherein, I find that the learned Single Judge, while disposing of the said case, has followed the judgment rendered by the Hon'ble Division Bench of this Court, in W.A.Nos.2604 to 2606 of 1999 dated 20.06.2006, and allowed the writ petition by giving direction to the respondents to sanction and pay incentive increments to the petitioner for possessing M.Phil Degree.

I am of firm view that the present impugned order is also liable to be set aside. Accordingly, the Writ Petition is allowed by setting aside the impugned order passed by the third respondent. Consequently, the respondents are directed to sanction and pay third incentive increment to the petitioner for having acquired M.Phil qualification within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. No costs".

2. Heard the learned counsel for petitioner and learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the respondents.
