This writ petition has been filed for issuance of writ of mandamus, to direct the Sub Court, Dindigul to transfer all the suits and pending proceedings to the Special Court under the Tamil Nadu Protection of interest of depositors (in Financial Establishment) Act 1997, Chennai.

2. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned counsel appearing for the respondents.

3. The learned counsel for the petitioner fairly submitted that all the pending suits have been disposed of, hence, the prayer sought for in this writ petition has become infructuous.

4. In the light of the above submission, this writ petition is dismissed as having become infructuous. However, there shall be no order as to costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
