Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying to issue a writ of Mandamus, directing the respondents to sanction advance increments to the Officers from the level of Agricultural Officer to Deputy Director of Agriculture who acquired P.G.Degree and Ph.D at Government cost from 06.05.1985 and those who would acquire those degrees in future, from the last date of examination in which they acquired/acquire such degree, such as 2 advance increments for acquiring post graduate degree and 3 advance increments for those who get Ph.D.

The Matter was listed for hearing on 30.12.2018, none appeared for the petitioner and the Registry was directed to list the matter for dismissal on 31.01.2019. When the matter was taken up for hearing on 31.01.2019, https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

there was no representation even on that day, and accordingly, this Court in order to provide one more opportunity, directed the Registry to list the matter on 01.02.2019 under the caption "for dismissal". When the matter is taken up today for hearing, today also there is no representation and accordingly the writ petition stands dismissed for non-prosecution.
