O R D E R

The prayer sought for herein is for a Writ of Mandamus directing the respondents 1 to 3 namely the District Revenue Officer Krishnagiri The sub collector of Hosur and the Tahsildhar of Soolagiri to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 8.12.2022 and take action for changing and granting joint patta in the names of the present owners of the land in respect of patta No. 1172 S.No. 164/1A 164/2A and 165 an extent of 2.74.50 (7.60 Aces) in Uthanapalli village, Soolagiri Taluk, Krishnagiri District within a time to be stipulated by this Court.

In respect of the property situated at S.No. 164/1A 164/2A and 165 an extent of 2.74.50 (7.60 Aces) in Uthanapalli village, Soolagiri Taluk, Krishnagiri District, the petitioner claims that it is the joint property of the petitioner and other legal heirs and since they have inherited the property from their grandfather, patta has to be jointly issued in the name of the petitioner and the 4th respondent. Therefore, in this regard the petitioner has given a representation to the respondents on 08.12.2022 and in order to consider the same the present writ petition has been filed. 2 / 4

3. Heard Mrs.Akila Rajendran appearing for respondents 1 to 3. In view of the order that is going to be passed in this writ petition, notice to the 4th respondent is dispensed with.

4. Learned Government Advocate submits that, the said representation dated 08.12.2022 would be considered by the 3rd respondent on merits and in accordance with law within a time frame that may be stipulated by this Court.

5. Considering the said submissions made by the learned Government Advocate, this Court is inclined to dispose of this writ petition with the following order.

"That there shall be a direction to the 3rd respondent to consider the representation submitted by the petitioner dated 08.12.2022 on merits and in accordance with law and pass orders within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order."
