ORDER

This petition has been filed seeking for a direction to the respondents to set aside the closure report dated 21.11.2017 and to register the petitioners complaint dated 20.02.2017.

2. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and also perused the closure report dated 21.11.2017.

3. A reading of the closure report discloses that the petitioner has given a power of attorney to one Suresh Mathew and the said Suresh Mathew, on the strength of the power of attorney, sold the property situated at S.No.872, Tirumullaivoyal to one Nurul Ameen. The said Suresh Mathew has paid a sum of Rs.15,00,000/- to the petitioner towards part of the sale consideration. The said purchaser has also deposited the initial amount of Rs.27,93,530/- in the bank account of the https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

petitioner. The respondent police have also enquired the Branch Manager of the ICICI Bank, Anna Salai Branch, whether the petitioner is maintaining the account or not. After investigation, the respondent police have advised the petitioner to seek his remedy before the appropriate civil forum.

4. On going through the said closure report, this Court does not find any infirmity and the same does not warrants interference. Hence, this Criminal Original Petition is closed giving liberty to the petitioner to work out his remedy before the appropriate forum.
