This writ petition has been filed seeking issuance of a writ of mandamus directing respondents 1 and 2 to offer police protection to the petitioner's life and limbs and his school properties by name "Saraswati Vikas Matriculation Higher Secondary School at No.41-A/35, Vediappan Kovil 2nd Street, Tiruvannamalai 606 602", within a time frame as fixed by this Court.

2. Heard Mr.R.Veeramani, learned counsel for petitioner and Mr.A.Damodaran, learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing on behalf of respondents 1 & 2.

3. Learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for respondents 1 & 2 submitted that on the representation of the petitioner, no current paper or CSR has been assigned till date and a decision will be taken on the petitioner's representation dated 02.12.2023 at the earliest.

4. In view of the submission made by learned Additional Public 2/4

Prosecutor, this petition is disposed of directing the second respondent to take a decision on the petitioner's representation dated 02.12.2023 within a period of two (2) weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. With the above direction, this Writ Petition is disposed of. No costs.
