Seeking a direction to the respondent police to extend protection to the petitioner's employees for doing construction work, register the case based on their complaint dated 14.05.2015 and enquire the same, the petitioner has come up with this petition.

2. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondent police.

3. It is represented that the petitioner lodged a complaint with the third respondent police and on the said complaint, the petition enquiry is pending in CSR No.671/2015.

4. Hence, the third respondent police is directed to conduct enquiry in CSR No.671/2015 and take action in accordance with the law laid down by the Honourable Apex Court in Lalita Kumari vs. Govt. of U.P. & others [2013 (4) Crimes 243 (SC)].

5. This Criminal Original Petition is disposed of with the above direction.
