Common Prayer : Writ Petitions are filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying to issue a Writ of Certiorarified Mandamus, calling for the records pertaining to M.W.Nos.16/2001 & 15/2001 respectively, on the file of the first respondent to quash the order dated 21.10.2002 passed by the first respondent, rejecting the petitioners' claim and further direct the first respondent to compute the Minimum Wages payable by the second respondent to the petitioners.

2. Since the applications for substitution of the legal heirs have not been filed, the Writ Petitions stand dismissed as abated.

However, if the legal heirs of the deceased petitioners/workmen are of the view that the cause of action in the present writ petitions still survive, they are granted liberty to file fresh writ petitions within a reasonable time. No costs.
