ORDER : The Court Made the following order :- The petitioner herein was granted anticipatory bail on 02.11.2021 in Crime No.561 of 2021 on the file of J-12, Kanathur police station for the alleged offences under Sections 147, 148, 452, 364 A, 397 and 506(ii) r/w.120b of IPC on 06.10.2021. One of the conditions for granting of the anticipatory bail is that the petitioner shall deposit a sum of Rs.1,51,000/- in the credit of Crime No.561 of 2021 before the learned Judicial Magistrate No.II, Alandur within a period of two weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of the order and other usual conditions on furnishing surety etc. The petitioner has not complied this order, the reason for non compliance is stated as transfer of investigation from J-12 Kanathur police station to G-7 Chetpet police station in Crime No.332 of 2021 considering the territorial jurisdiction.

2. The learned Government Advocate (Crl.side) confirmed the said fact. Even, if the investigation has been transferred to one police station to another, this Court is of the opinion that there was no impediment of the petitioner to deposit a sum of Rs.1,51,000/- in the https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

Judicial Magistrate No.II, Alandur within a period of two weeks from the receipt of order copy because the two weeks period expired even before the transfer of investigation. However since the petitioner has now come forward to deposit the money before learned II Metropolitan Magistrate, Egmore, Chennai, which has jurisdiction over G-7, Chetpet police station, Chennai, time to deposit the money before II Metropolitan Magistrate, Egmore in Crime No.332 of 2021 on the file of J-7, Chetpet police station is granted upto 15.03.2022.
