ORDER
This Writ Petition is filed seeking for a direction to respondents to pass orders on the representation dated 30.12.2021 seeking grant of loan for erection of a deep borewell with appropriate subsidy, on merits and as per law. 2.By consent of both the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner as well as Mr.U.Baranidharan, learned Additional Government Pleader, who takes notice for the respondents, the Writ Petition is taken up for final disposal at the stage of admission itself.
3.According to the learned counsel appearing for the
petitioner, the petitioner is a joint owner of the two acres of land along with his father in S.No.461/1C situated at Vadamugam Vellode 'A' Village, Perundurai, Erode. He is a member of R.S.Primary Agricultural Cooperative Credit Society. During the year 2019-2020, the Government announced loan and financial assistance from Tamil Nadu Backward Classes and Economic Development Corporation for allotting loans with subsidy for erection of borewell. The petitioner applied for the sanction of loan along with subsidy. Pursuant to which, a spot inspection was conducted by the authorities concerned and due to the Covid pandemic situation, the petitioner's application was not considered. However, now the applications of the other beneficiaries were considered and loans were sanctioned to them. In such circumstances, the petitioner sent a representation dated 30.12.2021 to the respondents for grant of loan for erection of borewell. Since no order has been passed on the petitioner's representation dated 30.12.2021, the petitioner has come out with the present Writ Petition.
4.Considering the above materials and the contention of the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner that already spot inspection was conducted and officials were directed to sanction the loan to the petitioner, the other similarly placed applications were considered and loans were sanctioned, the respondents are directed to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 30.12.2021 along with the inspection report and other documents and pass orders on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of four (4) weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
5.With the above direction, the Writ Petition is disposed of. No costs.
