No. 7983/A3/2004 dated 4.1.2005 and the consequential order of the deployment passed by the 3rd respondent in his proceedings Na.Ka.No. 115/M/2005 dated 31.01.2005 and quash the same in so far as declaring B.T.Asst. post(Maths) as surplus in T.D.T.A.K.G.M. Higher Secondary.School and direct the respondents to fix staff strength of the T.D.T.A.K.G.M. Higher Secondary.School in the cadre of B.T.Asst. As per the norms issued in G.O.Ms.No.525 Education dated 29.12.1997 issued by the 1st respondent.

Mr.J.C. Durairaj Agp Order (Order of the Court was made by Dr.Anita Sumanth J.) Though some arguments are advanced by the learned counsel for the petitioner, ultimately, what has transpired is that with the elapse of time and the superannuation of the 5th respondent, nothing survives in this matter as on date.
2. The latest staff fixation order dated 30.10.2025 is produced before us which shows that there is only one post of B.T. Assistant and the second is surplus.
3. According to Ms.Lita, there is a crying need for a one more Maths __________Page 2 of 4
Teacher. In such an event, the school is at liberty to make a representation for consideration of a sanctioned post. Such representation as and when made, will be considered by the authorities expeditiously.
