The petitioner herein apprehends arrest at the hands of the respondent police for the offences punishable under Sections 8(c), 20(b)(ii)(B), 25 and 29(1) of NDPS Act, in Crime No.57 of 2026, on the file of the respondent Police, seeks anticipatory bail.

2. The allegation against the petitioner is that the petitioner is ranked as A3 in this case. It is alleged that the petitioner along with other accused were found in possession of 1.100 kgs of ganja . Hence, the case was registered.

3. The learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that based on the confession of A1 and A2, petitioner has been arrested.. He further submitted that the petitioner is ready to abide by any stringent conditions that may be imposed by this Court. Hence, he prayed for grant of anticipatory bail to the petitioner.

4. The learned Government Advocate (Crl. Side) reiterated the prosecution case and submitted that A1 & A2 has been arrested in this case and the investigation revealed that petitioner is supplier and have played active role in possession and transportation of ganja. Hence, he opposed for grant of anticipatory bail to the petitioner. 2/4

5.Considering the nature of allegations and the fact that it is a case of intermediate quantity of ganja and the petitioner is a main accused, this Court is not inclined to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioner.
