The Revision Petitioner herein is the wife filed a petition in H.M.O.P.No.5 of 2019 on the file of Sub-Court, Sankari seeking a divorce against her husband on the ground of cruelty. Thereafter, in the year of 2021, the respondent husband filed a petition in H.M.O.P.No. 75 of 2021 seeking for restitution of conjugal rights.

2. Earlier, the petitioner has left her matrimonial home without children and after completion of her higher studies, she is now working as a Village Administrative Officer. Now, the respondent visiting her office and causing annoyance and also causing mental cruelty. However, she is ready to proceed with the case. But, the respondent is not cooperating with the proceedings and the court has adjourned the matter for conducting a joint trial on 14.09.2022. Hence, the present Civil Revision Petition has been filed seeking for a speedy disposal of proceedings in H.M.O.P. No.5 of 2019 seeking for divorce.

3. On perusal of records, it would reveals that nearly about 10 hearings, the matter was adjourned without conducting cross-examination of P.W.1. Hence, the reasons assigned by the petitioner seems to be justifiable one. Therefore, this Court is inclined to direct the trial court to complete the trial and to dispose the petition filed in H.M.O.P. No. 5 of 2019 within a period of two months from the date of receipt of copy of this order. Accordingly, this Civil Revision Petition is disposed of.
