This writ petition has been filed to quash G.O.Ms.No.320 (Industries - MIG - II) Department dated 10/8/1993 and quash the same and consequently direct the respondents to consider the petitioner Company's claim for waiver of sales tax for five years with effect from 8/3/1994.

2. Today, when the matter is taken up for hearing, there is no representation on behalf of the petitioner. Hence, this Court is of the view Page No:2/4

that even though the matter pertains to the year 2011, the petitioner is not interested in prosecuting the matter anymore.
