Mr.E.Balamurugan, learned Special Government Pleader takes notice for the respondents. By consent of the parties, the main writ petition itself is taken up for final disposal at the admission stage itself.

2. The petitioner seeks for a mandamus directing the respondents to dispose of the representation dated 15.05.2017, wherein and whereby, he has sought to survey the land comprised in Survey No.152/2A situated at Attanthangal Village, Ponneri Taluk, Thiruvallur District and to issue Patta in his name in respect of the subject matter land.

3. Heard both sides.

4. The grievance of the petitioner is that the said representation has not been considered so far.

5. This Court, at this stage, is not expressing any view on https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

the merits of the claim made by the petitioner, as it is for the third respondent to consider and decide. Therefore, without expressing any view on the merits of the matter, this writ petition is disposed of, only by directing the third respondent to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 15.05.2017 and pass orders on the same on merits and in accordance with law, after giving due opportunity of hearing to the petitioner as well as the rival claimants, if any, within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. No costs.
