This petition has been filed for quashing the FIR in Cr.No.129 of 2015 pending on the file of the Inspector of Police, Team IV, Central Crime Branch, Chennai.
2. Today, when the matter was taken up for hearing, the learned Additional Public Prosecutor on instructions from Mr.Ramesh, Inspector of Police, Team IV, Central Crime Branch, Chennai, Investigating Officer, submits that the petitioner herein is not an accused in Cr.No.129 of 2015.
3. Mr.L.Chandrakumar, learned counsel for the petitioner vehemently submitted that the petitioner filed Crl.O.P.No.11773 of 2015 to quash the FIR in Cr.No.595 of 2015 pending on the file of Inspector of Police, G-1,Vepery Police Station, Chennai. In that proceedings Mr.Prabhu, the Inspector of Police, G-1, Vepery Police Station has filed a counter, wherein he has stated that this petitioner is also an accused in Cr.No.129 of 2015, pending on the file of Central Crime Branch, Chennai.

4. The learned Additional Public Prosecutor on instructions from the Investigating Officer, who is present before this Court today, submitted that the Inspector of Police, G1, Vepery Police station, Chennai, has inadvertently stated so in the counter filed in Crl.O.P.No.11773 of 2015 and the same is recorded.
5. In view of the representation made by the learned Additional Public Prosecutor, on instructions from the Investigating Officer, this petitioner is not an accused in this case, hence this Criminal Original Petition is closed. Consequently, connected Miscellaneous Petition is closed.
