ORDER

This writ petition has been filed, challenging the impugned order dated 29.10.2025 passed by the first respondent, rejecting the petitioner's request for conducting survey and demarcation of the boundaries of the properties morefully described in the prayer to this writ petition on the ground that the property of the petitioner could not be identified.

2. The learned counsel for the petitioner would now submit that the respondents have orally informed the petitioner that the property has now been identified.

3. Since the learned counsel for the petitioner, on instructions, would submit that the property is now identified by the respondents, no prejudice would be caused to the respondents if the impugned order dated 29.10.2025 passed by the first respondent is quashed and the matter is remanded back to the first respondent for fresh consideration and to conduct survey and demarcation of the boundaries of the property morefully described in the prayer to this writ

petition after hearing the objections of the respondents 4 and 5 as well as any other third party whom the first respondent deems it fit to enquire within a time frame to be fixed by this Court.

4. Mr. C. Jayaprakash, learned Government Advocate accepts notice on behalf of the respondents 1 and 2. Mr. V. Meganathan, learned Government Advocate (Crl. Side) accepts notice on behalf of the third respondent. Since no adverse orders are passed against the respondents 4 and 5, notice to the respondents 4 and 5 is dispensed with by this Court.

5. This Court is not expressing any opinion on the merits of the petitioner's representation.

6. For the foregoing reasons, this writ petition is disposed of by quashing the impugned order dated 29.10.2025 passed by the first respondent and remanding the matter back to the first respondent for conducting survey and demarcation of the boundaries of the property morefully described in the prayer to this writ petition within a period of twelve weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order after hearing the objections of the respondents 4 and 5 as well as any other third party whom the first respondent deems it fit to enquire. If the need arises for police assistance and on a request made by the first respondent, the third respondent shall render police assistance for the effective

implementation of this order.
