The prayer sought for herein is for a writ of mandamus to direct the 2nd respondent to conclude the enquiry in Na.Ka.No.259/m2/2022 dated 07.03.2022.

The petitioner had given some complaint to the 2nd respondent to enquire about the Document No.1364/2021 at Sub Registrar No.II, Arakkonam by representation dated 18.01.2022 and this has been enquired by the 2nd respondent, which is evidenced from the summon issued by the 2nd respondent dated 07.03.2022, under which, the petitioner and the persons against whom a complaint has been given i.e. the 4th respondent had been summoned to put forth their case in the enquiry to be conducted on 21.03.2022 accordingly such enquiry was conducted it seems, as per the stand of the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner, despite that since any orders have been passed on the said enquiry by the 2nd respondent, the petitioner has moved the present writ petition seeking indulgence of this Court.

3. Heard Mr.K.P.Chandrasekaran, learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and Mr.Yogesh Kannadasan, learned Special Government Pleader appearing for the respondents 1 and 2. In view of the order going to be passed in this writ petition, notice to the 3rd and 4th respondents is dispensed with.

If the enquiry is already over on the complaint given by the petitioner, a direction is hereby given to the 2nd respondent to pass orders on such complaint/representation by completing the enquiry if not already completed within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

5. It is made clear that, if still some enquiry has to be conducted by the 2nd respondent, opportunity of being heard shall be given to both the petitioner as well as the private respondents and thereafter the orders shall be passed within a time frame as indicated above.
