Institutions (I.T.Is) as Junior Training Officers based on the letters of the 4th respondent dated 25.10.2016 and 05.01.2017, within the time fixed by this Court.

O R D E R

This writ petition has been filed by the petitioners seeking a direction to the respondents 1 and 2 to pass necessary orders for the re-deployment of the petitioners working in the 4th respondent in the available vacancies of the other Government Departments, particularly, in the Industrial Training Institutions (I.T.Is) run by 3rd respondent, as Junior Training Officers, based on the letters of the 4th respondent dated 25.10.2016 and 05.01.2017, within the time fixed by this Court.

2. Learned counsel appearing for the petitioners would submit that a direction may be given to the respondents to consider the case of the petitioners based on the letters of the 4th respondent dated 25.10.2016 and 05.01.2017 . He would also submit that that the 5th petitioner is not pressing the petition and seeks permission of this Court to dismiss the same in respect of 5th petitioner.

3. In view of the submission made by the learned counsel appearing for the petitioners, this Writ Petition, is hereby dismissed as not pressed in respect of 5th petitioner alone.

4. Mr.V.Jayaprakash Narayanan, learned Special Government Pleader takes notice for the respondents 1 to 3, Mr.M.Digvijayapandian, learned counsel, takes notice for 4th respondent and seek four weeks time to consider the case of the petitioner in accordance with the letters of the 4th respondent dated 25.10.2016 and 05.01.2017.

5. Considering the limited relief sought for in this petition and without going into the merits of the matter, this Court hereby directs the respondents to consider the case of the petitioners (except 5th petitioner) in accordance with the letters of the 4th respondent dated 25.10.2016, 05.01.2017 and pass appropriate orders, on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

6. With the above direction, the writ petition is disposed of accordingly. No costs.
