Prayer: Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of Constitution of India, for issuance of a Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondents to accommodate the petitioner in premises bearing Door No.12, Venkatachala Mudali Street, Park Town, Chennai - 600 003 following the representation of the petitioner dated 01.11.2021 in the Ground Floor and First Floor of the above said premises in continuation of the tenancy of the petitioner right from 1986 to till date allotting 636 Sq.Ft. of built-up area in the Ground Floor and 440 Sq.ft. of built-up area in the First Floor as stated in the proceedings of the Joint Commissioner namely the third respondent in his letter dated 25.10.2013 and levy monthly rent as per the orders of the Government of Tamil Nadu with regard to Temple Property and collect monthly rental amount from the petitioner from the date of allotment of accommodation on monthly tenancy basis.

ORDER
The petitioner has filed this writ petition for the issuance of the Writ of Mandamus to direct the respondents to accommodate the petitioner in premises bearing Door No.12, Venkatachala Mudali Street, Park Town, Chennai - 600 003 following the representation of the petitioner dated 01.11.2021 in the Ground Floor and First Floor of the above said premises in continuation of the tenancy of the petitioner right from 1986 to till date allotting 636 Sq.Ft. of built-up area in the Ground Floor and 440 Sq.ft. of built-up area in the First Floor as stated in the proceedings of the Joint Commissioner namely the third respondent in his letter dated 25.10.2013 and levy monthly rent as per the orders of the Government of Tamil Nadu with regard to Temple Property and collect monthly rental amount from the petitioner from the date of allotment of accommodation on monthly tenancy basis.
2. After hearing the learned counsel appearing on behalf of the petitioner and the learned Additional Government Pleader appearing on behalf of the respondents, I am inclined to dispose this writ petition by directing the petitioner to pay a sum of
Rs.9,16,994/- as rent due as on 31.03.2021 to the Arulmighu Sengazhuneer Vinayagar, Arulmighu Chidambaraswarar & Arulmighu Kesavaperumal Temples, Thottikalai, Thiruvallur District, the sixth respondent herein.
3.On such payment being made by the petitioner, the petitioner can proceed with the construction and subject to the petitioner complying with the sanction order of the Commissioner, Hindu Religious and Charitable Endowments Board dated 18.06.2014. This amount shall be paid by the petitioner within a period of sixty (60) days from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
4.This Writ Petition stands disposed of with the above observations. No costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
