This is an application for condonation of delay of 247 days in filing the appeal.

Heard Mr.P.Kumaresan, learned Additional Advocate General for the applicants and Mr.N.Srinivas, learned counsel for the respondents.

Learned counsel for the respondents submits that no plausible reasons are mentioned in the application.

The applicants are not to gain by the delay. The merits of the contentions can be considered while considering the appeal. The reasons have been spelt out in the application.

For the reasons stated in the accompanying affidavit, the delay of 247 days in filing the appeal is condoned. The application is allowed.
