Respondents Writ petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying for issuance of a Writ of Mandamus, directing the 1st respondent to suitably peruse the records of New Survey No.1/19 (Survey Field No.1/12) to an extent of 59 cents situated at Chinna Sekkadu Village, Tiruvottiyur Taluk, Tiruvellore District, which was modified in to Survey No.1/11 to an extent of 4 cents and Survey No.1/17 to an extent of 6 cents Chinna Sekkadu Village, Tiruvottiyur Taluk, Tiruvellore District to its original status as per Patta No.115 stood in the name of Kannayeram Naicker, as claimed in the representation dated 03.10.2017.

Mr.K.J.Sivakumar, learned Government Advocate takes notice for the respondents. By consent of the parties, the main writ petition is taken up for final disposal at the admission stage itself.

The petitioner seeks for a mandamus directing the first respondent to suitably peruse the records of New Survey No.1/19 (Survey Field No.1/12) to an extent of 59 cents situated at Chinna Sekkadu Village, Tiruvottiyur Taluk, Tiruvellore District, which was modified into Survey No.1/11 to an extent of 4 cents and Survey No.1/17 to an extent of 6 cents Chinna Sekkadu Village, Tiruvottiyur Taluk, Tiruvellore District to its original status as per Patta No.115 stood in the name of Kannayeram Naicker, based on the representation dated 03.10.2017. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

3. According to the petitioner, when the computer patta is given to the subject matter property, the extent of the property owned by the petitioner was reduced by 10 cents. It is the claim of the petitioner that the original patta granted contains the actual extent whereas the computer patta has wrongly reduced the extent.

4. This Court, at this stage, is not expressing any view on the claim made by the petitioner, as it is for the respondents to consider and decide. As it is seen that the petitioner has already made a representation on 03.10.2017 ventilating his grievance, it is for the respondents to consider the said representation and pass orders on the same, after giving due opportunity of hearing to all the parties concerned. Such exercise shall be done by the respondents, within a period of twelve weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. No costs.
